Project Description
The Tower of Peñerudes (Morcín, Asturias) is considered a Historical Monument and its origin dates back to the early Middle Ages – specifically the 12th century. It’s located at an altitude of 530 meters on a mound located on the north side of the village of El Campo, in the parish of Peñerudes. The tower isn’t very well preserved and has been in ruins for a century now, but without showing signs of danger of collapse.
